The annual ‘Dr. Harriton’ competition raised $35,239, smashing the previous fundraising record of approximately $30,000. The event, which Harriton Student Council organizes, marks the 12th year in a row that 10 upperclassmen boys have competed for title.
This year, Tai Groeneveld took home the crown and the golden stethoscope, placing first with his dancing talent. Tai leapt across the stage, switching multiple times both the style of music and his shoes within the fast-paced five-minute act. Complete with splits, jumps, and tap dancing, the talent was certainly one to remember.
In second place came Matthew Pearl who played the piano and utilized a voice box to perform live the electronic song “Close to You” by Tito Tunes. Zeke Millrood placed third and performed up-close magic and the drums.
